Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) This one-man electronica/avantgarde project called "Room 34" aka Scott Anderson is located somewhere way above on the same level of creativity, musicality, and ingenuity as "meauxdal" - one of my favorite electronica artists. Scott Anderson outs himself as being inspired by Dave Stewart (Egg, Bruford, ect.), Radiohead, Ottorino Respighi, and Paul Hindemith (among others), which alone is enough to spark my interest. While all of his albums are exceptional, this conceptual work is clearly my favorite because of its constant flow of ideas, streaming into one another, yielding a unique 45-minute suite that deserves much more appreciation than it currently gets here. Three-page PDF booklet included. Favorite track: 3c Pyrrhic.

about

Inspired by the ancient elements of Water, Air, Fire, Earth and Aether, this album explores these themes in a set of four, three-part suites, plus a standalone track for Aether and a bonus track, a synthesizer interpretation of a Claude Debussy piece originally written for harp and string orchestra.
