Composed and recorded in April and May 2020, while under stay-at-home orders due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

About the tracks:

TWEETSTORM
Inspired by "field recordings" (if my backyard counts as "field") of birdsong and civil defense siren tests, this track features those field recordings along with my attempts to recreate the birdsong on my Yamaha Reface CP, with complementary parts on my fretless Fender Jazz Bass and Teenage Engineering's PO-12 Pocket Operator drum machine.

RECRUDESCENCE OF SYMPTOMATOLOGY
An unaccompanied fretless bass solo. The epitome of social isolation. Inspired by the sounds (but not the technical virtuosity) of Jaco Pastorius. Performed on my highly modified fretless Fender Jazz Bass.
